Privacy Policy

This app has accounts, study progress and a public chat, so some of your data is stored on our servers. This page explains exactly what, why, and how to delete it. It is written to be read, not to hide behind length.

Information you give us

When you create an account we collect and store:

• Name
• Email address
• Profile picture, if you upload one
• Password, stored as a cryptographic hash (see Security)
• Country, so we can show content in your language

We do not collect your phone number, precise location, contacts, or camera roll.

Information created as you use the app

• Study progress — points, streaks, quiz scores and weekly ranking
• Device model (for example “Samsung Galaxy A15”), so your account and rewards stay consistent across devices
• Subscription status, and for Google Play purchases the receipt used to confirm the purchase is genuine

Chat messages

The app includes a public chat. Messages you send are stored on our servers so other users can see them and the conversation persists.

• Chat is moderated — messages pass an automatic filter, and we may review, hide or remove content that breaks our rules or the law.
• You can block another user, and report a user or message from inside the app.
• We keep messages while your account is active. Deleting your account deletes them.

Anything you post in public chat is visible to other users. Please do not post personal information there.

Problem reports

If you use the Report a Problem button, we receive your description plus your name, email address, app version, Android version, device model, country, the screen you were on, and your network (IP) address. These are listed on the report screen before you send. They are used only to diagnose the problem and reply to you, and are never shared.

Microphone

Pronunciation practice uses your device’s own speech recognition. When you tap to speak, Android converts your voice to text and the app receives only the text, which it compares with the phrase you were practising.

We never receive, store or upload any audio recording. The microphone is used only while you are actively using that feature, and only after you grant permission.

Notifications

Study reminders are generated on your own device. We do not operate push messaging and we do not collect notification tokens. You can turn reminders off in your device settings at any time.

Advertising and analytics

The free version shows ads through Google AdMob, which may use your device’s advertising ID to limit repeated ads and measure performance. If you are in a region that requires consent (such as the EU or UK), the app shows Google’s official consent form the first time you open it, and your choice is respected.

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which features are used, in aggregate. These services have their own policies:

• Google Play Services & Firebase Analytics
• Google AdMob

Subscribers do not see ads.

Log data

If something goes wrong, our servers and third-party tools may record technical details such as your IP address, device model, operating system version and the time of the error, so the problem can be fixed.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled servers. Access to user data is restricted to the developer.

All passwords are stored using industry-standard cryptographic hashing (bcrypt). We do not store passwords in plain text under any circumstances.

No system is perfectly secure, but we review and improve ours regularly.

How long we keep your data

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed. Records required for accounting or tax purposes, and anonymous statistics that cannot be linked back to you, may be retained.

Your rights & deleting your account

You can access, correct, export or delete your data. To delete your account:

• Inside the app — Settings → Delete Account. This is immediate.
• By email — write to CoderRebornX@gmail.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request”, including your name and the email address on the account.

We respond to all privacy requests within 15 business days. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Children

This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If we learn that we have, we delete it.

Legal

We aim to comply with the GDPR, the CCPA and the Google Play Developer Policies. We do not sell your personal data.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes are posted on this page and the “Last updated” date changes.
