CoderRebornX built the EPS-TOPIK UBT Practice app as a free app. This Service is provided by CoderRebornX at no cost and is intended for use as-is.
This page explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except as described in this policy.
Using the App Without an Account
You do not need to create an account to take practice tests in the app. Guest use collects no personal information at all — the information described below applies only if you choose to sign up for an account (to save your points, rank, and profile across devices).
Information Collection and Use
If you create an account, we collect:
Name
Email address
A profile picture, if you choose to upload one
Your password, which we never see or store in readable form — it is converted to a secure cryptographic hash (bcrypt) before it is stored, and that conversion happens immediately on our server
Your device's manufacturer and model name (e.g. "Samsung Galaxy S21") — this is a general device description, not a unique or persistent device identifier
We use this information to:
Create and secure your account
Let you sign in from your device
Track your points and position on the leaderboard
Respond to support requests
Session Tokens
When you sign in, our server issues your device a random session token, stored only on your device, so you don't have to log in again every time you open the app. This token identifies your session — it is not personal information by itself, expires automatically, and is never shared with anyone.
Account Security & Abuse Prevention
To protect accounts from unauthorized access attempts, we temporarily record the number and timing of failed sign-in and password-reset attempts associated with an email address. This information is used only to detect and slow down abuse (for example, repeated password guessing), and is automatically cleared after a short cooldown period.
Advertising
This app shows ads through Google AdMob to keep it free. AdMob may collect and use an advertising identifier (a resettable ID provided by your device, not tied to your name or email) to show ads and measure their performance. You can reset or limit this identifier at any time in your device's system settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or similar, depending on your Android version).
You may also unlock a limited ad-free period by watching a short rewarded video — this is optional and does not require an account.
If required in your region, you will be shown a consent form (via Google's User Messaging Platform) before any personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time from that form.
Analytics & Crash Reporting
We use the following Google services to understand app performance and fix bugs:
Firebase Analytics — aggregate, non-identifying usage statistics (e.g. which screens are used)
Firebase Crashlytics — automatically collects technical crash reports (device model, OS version, and the point in the app's code where a crash occurred) so we can fix bugs. Crash reports do not include your password.
Google Play Services — the underlying platform services these tools depend on

Security of Data
We take reasonable steps to protect your information:
All communication between the app and our server is encrypted (HTTPS)
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored or logged in plain text
Account changes (renaming, deleting your account, changing your profile picture) require verifying your session or password — a third party cannot make these changes just by knowing your email address
Access to the underlying database is restricted to the developer
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we actively work to identify and close security gaps as they're found.
Service Providers
We may use third-party companies to help us operate the app — for example, our web hosting provider, and the providers listed under Advertising and Analytics above. These providers only have access to what they need to perform their specific function and are not permitted to use your data for any other purpose.
Your Rights & Account Deletion
You have full control over your data. You may at any time:
Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Correct or update your personal data
Delete your account and associated data
To delete your account from within the app: go to Profile → Settings → Update Profile → Delete Account, and confirm with your password.
To request deletion without the app installed (or for any other data request): email us at CoderRebornX@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We will complete verified requests within 15 business days and confirm by email once done.
Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, points, and login information from our active database. Some information may be retained for a limited period where required for security logs or legal compliance, after which it is purged.
Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the email above.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
